Making the first EP was a very exciting thing for me. First off, I was making music with 2 very close friends, and second, it was my first time legitimately recording on an album. One of the tracks is a tribute, more or less, to Pink Floyd’s On the Run. The track that we all three played drums on collectively was a cool concept and came out really nice. Our drumming styles synched considerably. To be honest, for about 3 or so months I thought the opening track was called “Sweet As Smile.” Turns out that “Sweet As Simile” makes way more sense, especially because the EP was dubbed “Like or As.” Recording this album really helped open up my comfortability on various instruments and being put on the spot to get a part done in as little time as possible.
